I am tired of people feeling appearance appeals to people more than their ideas. It’s a sick world that holds these views. I’ll take substance over illusion every day.

Catch more flies with honey,
That always seemed funny,
Who wants to catch flies,
Especially based on lies,
Is that really you,
Or just a filtered view,
Fools believe what they see,
That fool’s no longer me,
I get it, I understand,
Needing to appear grand,
Seen as something you are not,
Adds interest to your plot,
Yet the cover belies the story,
And diminishes any glory,
Which you might have found,
When the lie is voted down.
